YuJa is a cloud-based solution provider offering enterprise platforms designed for regulated sector clients. YuJa has offices in the United States, Canada, with a sales presence across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Australasia.

COMMITMENT AGAINST MODERN SLAVERY

YuJa recognizes the ongoing problem of modern slavery and the devastating impact it has on individuals, communities, and society as a whole. YuJa is committed to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking within its supply chain or in any part of its business. YuJa is committed to doing its part to prevent and eradicate modern slavery in all its forms, and to promote ethical and responsible business practices. Accordingly, YuJa has a zero-tolerance policy for slavery and human trafficking occurring within its own business and its supply chain.

SUPPLY CHAINS

YuJa’s supply chains include, but are not limited to, infrastructure providers and office operational support services.

DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES

As an enterprise software vendor, YuJa predominantly employs professionally qualified and highly skilled individuals, and procures professional services from its suppliers. Given the nature of its business and procurements, the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking activities occurring within YuJa’s business or supply chain is relatively low. Nevertheless, YuJa undertakes appropriate and thorough background checks on all potential employees, its suppliers and work partners. YuJa has a due diligence process for screening suppliers which includes a confirmation of compliance with YuJa’s Anti – Slavery policy by the concerned supplier. YuJa works with its suppliers to ensure that they share its commitment to preventing modern slavery. YuJa uses its best endeavor to take appropriate action if it discovers any violations of its anti-slavery policy by its suppliers. Further, as part of its contracting process, where appropriate, YuJa expects its suppliers to comply with all applicable laws, including those combatting modern slavery and human trafficking, such as the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (UK).

ASSESSING AND MANAGING RISK

YuJa is committed to:

• identify and assess, in line with the industry practices, the potential risks in relation to slavery and human trafficking within its business and supply chain;

• adopt appropriate measures to mitigate the identified risks, in line with the industry practices.

TRAINING:

YuJa is committed to adopt internal policies and procedures to ensure employee awareness of and compliance with its zero-tolerance position on modern slavery and human trafficking. This includes putting appropriate measures in place to ensure that employees are adequately trained on the issues of modern slavery, and that they are well-equipped with the skills to identify and report any potential instances of exploitation or abuse, whether within the business or in the supply-chain, without any fear of employment related repercussions.

NEXT STEPS

YuJa will continue to review and update its anti-slavery policy and practices to ensure that they remain effective and aligned with the best practices and industry standards pertaining to slavery and human trafficking risks. To the extent such risks or actual violations are identified, YuJa will implement all appropriate actions to eliminate them, including disengaging with suppliers if necessary.
