The university has installed lecture capture in video hybrid flexible (hyflex) classrooms for faculty to capture activity from multiple inputs. YuJa also helped the institution solve where to put student-owned video content, as storage within third party services can pose security and privacy issues.
With YuJa, each institution of the NDUS has the toolset and flexibility to brand and create its own unique space according to need. Since adoption and particularly after the pandemic struck in early 2020, YuJa has become an integral part of teaching and learning across the NDUS.
Panorama has allowed facilitators, faculty and staff to present content to users with the confidence that it is aligning with WCAG standards. Accessibility compliance allows access to print, audio, and visual media for users to choose the best medium for their learning needs and to be active members of the learning community.
The YuJa Video Platform has enhanced teaching at the University of Calgary with features such as auto captioning and the addition of different languages to captioning, along with the ability to do simple editing and add indexes or chapters — all of which can help instructors facilitate learning and support diverse learners.

The YuJa Enterprise Video Platform has met these needs and more, helping the college meet increased video demands and more.
YuJa has improved the learning experience for instructors and students with ready access tools and by providing a user-friendly platform that facilitates the development of video content.
Because YuJa works well with LMS providers, there wasn’t a lot of setup required. The ease of use proved beneficial as instructors were being stretched more than ever to provide quality, accessible courses remotely.
YuJa’s multi-camera recording and video player have been critical to a successful online program. Because art and design often require three-dimensional visuals, the ability to record from a number of angles was a big draw for ArtCenter.
While the main goal, at least initially, was for the platform to serve as a repository for videos, screen capture and lecture capture, captioning and accessibility were equally important considerations at the college went through its decision-making process.
YuJa equipped Clarkson College with Canvas-integrated video management, a campus-wide lecture capture platform and captioning capabilities, along with on-the-fly recording capabilities and a built-in video editor that does not require the use of additional applications.
MATC has always had an active number of online classes in addition to traditional on-campus classes. Because it had invested in the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform, when the pandemic hit, the infrastructure was already in place to support online learning. The college has committed significant time and energy into virtual/online and hybrid courses.
